Creating Your Membership Plans

⚠️ Important: Avoid using insurance terminology and terms such as insurance, comprehensive, benefits when creating your plans. Keep it simple and patient-friendly.

Step 1. Plan Offerings

Pro-Tips:

  • Keep offerings simple—less is more.

  • Use plain language your patients understand.

  • Exclusions are covered in Terms & Conditions, but make sure your team has a quick-reference sheet.


Step 2. Material Discounts

Pro-Tips:

  • Start at 10%; anything less feels too small.

  • A discount matters more to your bottom line than to patients (15% vs. 20% is still a savings).

  • Unsure? Go with 10% or a flat dollar amount.


Step 3. Family Discounts

Pro-Tips:

  • Optional—40% of offices skip them.

  • If used, half apply a flat rate; half scale (5%–7%–10%).

  • Easier to add later than remove.


Step 4. Pricing

Templates include recommended pricing—hover over the grey question mark for the breakdown.
WFRP = usual fee minus 15%, adjusted by patient portion (found in Billing).
