Family Discounts

Family Discounts

Family Discounts are discounts on the membership fee itself, and are applied when the account meets the threshold for the discount. When first enrolling, you're asked to set your Family Discounts for 2, 3, and 4+ members, but you can change your global Family Discounts at any time by clicking the gear icon to edit your membership plan settings.

Example: Your Annual Eye Exam & Eyewear Plan is set to $25/month, and you've set the 2-member Family Discount to 10%. Ted and Elaine both join your Annual Eye Exam & Eyewear Plan and share an account, so both receive 10% off their membership fee, making the effective cost for each $22.50/month.

Example 2: Now let's say Ted and Elaine add a 3rd member to their account, and your 3-member Family Discount is set to 15%. All payments on Ted and Elaine's account made prior to adding the 3rd family member will have a 10% Family Discount. When they add the 3rd member, that member will receive a 15% discount, and ALL future payments on the account will be at 15% off until the account drops below the 3-member threshold.

While you can change/remove Family Discounts at any time, once an account has a Family Discount applied, that discount will continue in perpetuity until a change is made to any membership on the account.
